During
this meeting we will hear a special presentation from Mervin Peters, President
of the Sons of the Republic of Texas, on efforts to relocate the Turner-Peters
Dogtrot Log Cabin from Grimes County to the Town of Boonville in Brazos County.
In
addition to hearing this interesting presentation, the Society will elect new
officers at this meeting.
