Their Ground: Tejanos at the Alamo.” The thought-provoking exhibit,
which runs from February 21 to June 6, 2014, shares the very personal stories
of Tejano defenders and their own struggle for liberty. Visitors
will also learn of the links between revolutionary Tejanos and the Archives of
the Texas General Land Office.
Also,
find out more about the involvement of the GLO at the 118thAnnual Meeting of
the Texas State Historical Association in San Antonio on March 6-8 and the
educational resources that continue to be made available by Archives staff.
In
addition, a 1773 map of New Spain is featured, as is the birth certificate of
Juan Seguin, both treasures that can be found in the GLO archival vaults.
